Privacy Policy

The data controller is A. Yu. Nikolaevsky (self-employed, TIN 166026461417), referred to below as “we”. This policy describes what data the Complect service and Chrome extension collect, why, and for how long it is kept.
What data we collect
The Complect Chrome extension reads product information (name, price, SKU, images, dimensions) from the web pages you visit. This data is sent to our servers only when you explicitly click “Add to collection”. We do not collect your browsing history or the content of the pages you visit.
To improve parsing quality, when the extension side panel is open on a product page it sends us an anonymous signal containing only the domain name of the page (for example, example.com) and whether parsing succeeded. This signal contains no personal data, no full URL, and none of the page content. It helps us find shops where our parser needs fixing.
Account data
For users in Russia, registration is available through Russian services and via a link sent to an email address. Signing in with previously connected foreign accounts remains available to those who registered before the rules changed.
Depending on the method, we receive your email address and, if the provider supplies them, your name and profile picture. We store this to identify your account and associate your collections with it. We do not share this data with third parties.
How we use your data
- To store and display your product collections
- To allow you to export collections to Excel or PDF
- To allow you to share collections with clients via a private link
- To improve parsing quality (aggregated domain analytics, no personal data)
Data storage
Your data is stored on servers located in Russia (Timeweb Cloud). We use PostgreSQL to store your collections and account information. Authentication tokens are stored locally in your browser via chrome.storage.local.
Image processing
Certain image operations — such as background removal — are performed by an international image processing service. This happens only at your request: the stored image is sent for processing and returned back. No personal data is transferred — technical metadata, including geolocation and device model, is stripped from the file before it is sent. The result is stored alongside your other files.
Host permissions
The extension requests access to all URLs (<all_urls>) in order to parse product pages on any e-commerce website. We only read page content when you open the extension side panel on a product page. We do not inject scripts on pages without your interaction.
Retention
Account data and collections are kept for as long as your account exists. After the account is deleted, the data is removed within 7 days.
Your rights
You may request information about the processing of your data, ask for it to be corrected, blocked or deleted, and withdraw your consent. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at office@complect.design. We will delete your data within 7 days.
